Optima themes has a special designated area for displaying Instagram feed on footer. You can find the widget at: Appearance – Widgets, Instagram Feed Widget.
Steps to Install and Setup the Instagram feed Plugin
- Install Instagram Feed from Appearance > About Theme Pro > Recommended Plugins
- Once installed go to Instagram Feed link at the bottom of your dashboard menu
- Click “Add New” > User Timeline – Next > Add Source > Select appropriate options Personal or Business > Connect with Instagram
- Accept the terms to Connect your Instagram Account > Once you are connected you will be able to view your feed > Save
To setup the Instagram feed in the bottom Footer area:
Go to Appearance – Widgets, select Instagram Feed widget and place it on Instagram Bottom Widget
To setup the Instagram feed in the Sidebar area:
Go to Appearance – Widgets, select Instagram Feed widget and Drag & Drop it in Sidebar Widget area.
Note: We only provide compatibility of our theme with the Instagram Feed plugin to show the Instagram feed in the footer and sidebar through widgets. If you experience any issues with login and connection to Instagram API or if the feed does not work, you will have to contact the Plugins support.
